A classic poster, from the pinnacle of Julio Franco’s tremendous career! For more than two decades, Franco rode his one-of-a-kind batting stance to great success. While many fans will remember his unbelievable strike-shortened 1994 season with the Chicago White Sox (20 HR, 98 RBI in 112 games), Julio gained national fame in 1991 with his finest all-around season. With career-highs in Runs (108), Stolen Bases (36), and a league-best .341 batting average (also a career high), he led a power-packed Texas Rangers lineup to one of its best seasons to date.

This poster, published by the venerable Costacos Brothers company, celebrates Franco’s 1991 A.L. Batting Championship, and features the perfect image of his unique over-the-head, bat-pointed-to-the-outfield batting stance. As far as we know, this is, amazingly, the only Julio Franco poster ever published, making it a truly unique collector’s item.
