When the American League charter member team the Baltimore Orioles were relocated to New York City in 1903, they were renamed the Highlanders. A decade later they became the Yankees, who went on to become baseball’s most successful franchise. Harken back to the eleven season window of Highlanders play, with this ball signed by (3) of the players from that era.

This Worth Official Little League ball is graced with (3) fairly tough autographs, that are each accompanied by inscriptions in the particular signer’s hand, with: sweet spot: George A. Davis, Jr. (d.1961) with “Boston Braves 1914”; north panel: John Ganzel (d.1967) with “Yankees 1903-4” (Ganzel hit the first ever Yankees/Highlanders home run); and south panel: Ray Caldwell (d.1959) with “Slim, Yankees & Cleveland 1910 to 1922”.
