Captured by the historic locale that served as a cradle during the infancy of the mighty American pastime, the Boston Red Sox were fittingly triumphant in the centennial edition of the Fall Classic, winning the 2004 World Series in four-straight games over a demoralized St. Louis Cardinals squad. Boston would claim their first title since 1918, forever ending the Babes curse, with Manny Ramrez named the series’ MVP. Offered here, we present this batting helmet signed by seventeen (17) members of the 2004 Boston Red Sox. A full size pro-model helmet made by the American Baseball Cap company, a brand label displaying a size “7 1/2” designation is affixed to the interior while an “Authentic Diamond Collection” sticker is found underneath the brim. Retaining all its padding on the interior and decorated over the front with a Red Sox logo sticker, an ABC decal has been placed over the lower reverse. Made for a right handed batter and remaining in overall excellent condition, the helmet has been signed by the likes of Dave Roberts, David Ortiz, Keith Foulke, Gabe Kapler, Manny Ramirez, Kevin Millar, Mark Bellhorn, Curt Leskanic, Orlando Cabrera, Trot Nixon, Kevin Youkilis, Bronson Arroyo, Mike Myers, Doug Mientkiewicz, Dave McCarty, Tim Wakefield and Doug Mirabelli.Comes with full letter JSA COA.
